Position Summary

The Executive Administrator serves as the primary support to the Office of the Lead Pastors, stewarding their time, communication, relationships, and ministry effectiveness. This role functions as both a strategic gatekeeper and a relational bridge—ensuring the Lead Pastors are focused on their highest calling while the needs of the church and community are handled with excellence, care, and a Christ-centered approach.

This individual must be highly organized, proactive, discerning, and able to operate with both confidentiality and emotional intelligence in a fast-paced ministry environment.


Key Responsibilities

1. Calendar & Schedule Management

Own and manage the Lead Pastors’ calendars with a high level of accuracy and intentionality

Schedule, confirm, and coordinate meetings, events, and ministry engagements

Prioritize appointments and redirect requests to appropriate staff when needed

Provide daily, weekly, and long-range calendar overviews

Ensure proper preparation time, margin, and travel considerations are built into schedules


2. Communication Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for communication directed to the Lead Pastors

Screen and prioritize emails, phone calls, and messages with discernment

Draft, edit, and respond to correspondence on behalf of the Lead Pastors

Ensure timely follow-up on all key communications

Handle media inquiries and external communication requests


3. Gatekeeping & Representation

Act as a trusted gatekeeper—protecting the Lead Pastors’ time while ensuring people feel seen, heard, and cared for

Represent the Office of the Lead Pastors in meetings, conversations, and correspondence as needed

Engage with church members, leaders, and external partners in a professional and Christ-centered manner

4. Meeting & Event Support

Prepare materials for meetings, speaking engagements, and events (agendas, notes, handouts, reports, etc.)

5. Travel & Engagement Coordination

Plan and manage all travel for preaching, speaking, and ministry engagements

Maintain and distribute updated bios and required materials for speaking opportunities

Ensure all external engagements are organized, communicated, and executed with excellence


6. Financial & Administrative Support

Track and manage receipts and expense documentation for the Lead Pastors

Job Title: Central Youth & Guest Experience Pastor (Trial Run)

 Department: Central Staff

I. Purpose of the Role

To champion Focus Church’s vision by leading two key areas across all campuses:

Youth Ministry – Overseeing and pastoring student ministry at the broadcast location, while creating a scalable student ministry model for all campuses.



Local Guest Experience (GE) – Recruiting, equipping, and developing GE and Vision Teams across campuses to create welcoming, intentional environments where people can take next steps toward Jesus.



This role combines relational leadership, strategic oversight, and a pastoral heart to strengthen Focus Church’s impact both for first-time guests and the next generation.

III. Responsibilities

A. Student Ministry (Next Gen Focus)

Serve as the Student Pastor Centrally for JH and HS students.



Develop a scalable and duplicatable student ministry model for all Focus campuses.



Lead, coach, and disciple student ministry staff and volunteers across locations.



Recruit adult and student leaders.



Teach regularly in student environments with clear, gospel-centered messages relevant to Gen Z.



Personally invest in students and families – fostering community, care, and discipleship.



Build bridges between the church and homes – equipping parents as primary disciple-makers.



Develop and execute engaging programming including services, small groups, events, camps, and outreach.



Partner with schools and attend students’ extracurricular events to foster relationships.

Ensure effective execution of Next Steps, Vision Team leadership, and follow-up processes.

Monitor and manage GE inventory and supplies churchwide.

Position Overview:

This role ensures our building, grounds, and environments are clean, functional, and prepared for guests each weekend. The ideal team member thrives on physical work, takes responsibility over their space, and understands that creating an excellent environment is ministry.

Responsibilities



Weekend Preparation – Saturday


- Fully clean and reset all interior public spaces (lobby, auditorium, hallways, bathrooms, kids areas, classrooms).

- Empty all trash cans throughout campus and replace liners.

- Sweep, mop, or vacuum floors as needed.

- Wipe down and sanitize high-touch surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and bathroom counters.

- Stock bathrooms with paper products and soap.

- Leaf blow all exterior walkways, patio areas, and parking lot edges.

- Ensure exterior trash cans are emptied and cleaned.

- Move and set up tables, chairs, stanchions, signage, and equipment per ministry/event requests.

- Stage rooms to their assigned layout for Sunday (kid classes, lobby arrangements, hospitality prep, auditorium setups).

- Perform basic facility checks (doors, supplies, lighting issues, smells, leaks, etc.) and report concerns immediately.


Sunday Morning Setup


- Perform quick walkthrough of entire campus checking for cleanliness and order.

- Turn on lights according to building plan (auditorium, lobby, classrooms, hallways).

- Unlock and open assigned doors and gates.

- Verify and adjust building/room AC thermostats to designated temperatures.

- Confirm trash cans are ready to receive guest traffic.

- Place or tidy lobby items (mats, cones, signage, café setup, welcome area).

- Restock supplies if levels are low from Saturday.


Post-Service Reset (Sunday Afternoon/Evening)


- Remove trash and reset all seating areas, classrooms, and lobby spaces.

- Wipe down and sanitize surfaces used by kids, volunteers, and guests.

- Clean and restock bathrooms after peak use.

- Sweep/vacuum high-traffic areas.

- Break down or reconfigure tables and chairs based on upcoming events or weekday ministry needs.

- Collect lost and found items and deliver to designated area.

- Leaf blow patio or exterior areas again if needed after heavy use.

- Secure building: turn off lights, check and adjust AC temps, lock required doors.

Requirements


- Ability to walk, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull carts and table stacks, carry trash bags, and move furniture repeatedly.

- Comfortable using leaf blowers, vacuums, hand tools, and basic cleaning supplies.

- Self-starter who takes responsibility without constant supervision.

- Reliable and punctual—weekend consistency is critical.

SUMMARY

The role of the Campus Pastor is to oversee the life and direction of the Campus under the direction and leadership of the Lead Pastor. This will require a firm grasp of the beliefs, values and strategy of Focus Church, and the ability to align campus staff and key leadership teams with its mission, vision and values. The Campus Pastor will offer pastoral leadership to the campus. The Campus Pastor will also ensure that the systems, practices and policies of the church responsibly and effectively support its ministry activities.

The Campus Pastor is a Team Leader

Your goal is to build a team of equippers who multiply ministry and to communicate about this well to those in leadership. 

Communicate wins, monthly activities and issues through written and verbal debrief with Lead Pastor and written monthly report to the Executive Leadership Team

Recruit, train and equip a ministry team composed of paid staff and volunteers to provide leadership and growth of identified ministry areas.

Schedule and hold monthly team meetings to connect leaders, evaluate ministry, and coach leadership.




The Campus Pastor is the Congregational Leader

You are responsible for fostering a sense of ownership so that the campus experiences vision-driven growth, while reflecting our core values.

Provide leadership, vision, pastoral care, counseling and shepherding to this assigned ministry maintaining a passion for reaching the community to achieve campus growth.

Proactively seek a personal and church presence in the surrounding community.

Encourage discipleship and spiritual growth through the creation and support of Life Group involvement.

Purpose of the Job:

To recruit, equip and develop GE Directors in reaching their full potential. Create location-specific and central strategies as the team grows to ensure culture and vision of the Church is preserved.

To serve Focus Church by playing an instrumental role alongside the locations staff and teams. They do this by executing new processes and procedures, communicating and keeping the standard, and managing growth and health of all GE areas, including Next Steps at all locations.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Initiate and cultivate the fun, God-honoring heart and culture of Focus by influencing Staff, GE Directors, Vision Team, and the Church at large

Ensure Next Steps and Vision Team interface is smooth and effective – and that people are cared for and given best next steps in their personal journey

Set standards for Next Steps, and Guest Experience teams and ensure that we are keeping the standards across all locations

Resource Inventory management with what supplies we are using in Guest Experience

Ensure that all campuses have inventory for their weekend services

Creates and executes new systems to track and manage team retention

Coordinate and lead weekly/monthly meetings with GE Directors to ensure vision, challenges, and goals are clearly communicated and accomplished

Relationally lead and develop GE Directors one-on-one, and as a family unit in areas of spiritual, personal, professional growth, and strategies

Provide solutions and coaching for leaders in handling issues that arise

Monthly attend Locations to assess the Vision Team, the climate and culture of the Location, and the effectiveness of  leadership, providing prompt feedback and solutions

During Location visits, have intentional conversations with leaders and team members alike to evaluate the overall culture and health of serving

Generate monthly Vision Team Reports for every location, to attest to the effectiveness of leaders and existing processes (Next Step metrics, and Vision team retention metrics)

Monitor growth of the Vision Team in all areas – spiritually, relationally, and numerically


Other Duties and Responsibilities:

Actively network with Churches and organizations outside of Focus in order to gain knowledge, creative solutions, and support – bringing The Church together

Participate and serve at all church wide events

As needed or directed, plan and execute Sunday specific special events and initiatives that affect all locations. (baptisms, donut walls, kona ice, etc)
